As one of Denmark’s largest port companies, ADP have a commitment to society. We strive to run a business that acts responsibly and promotes sustainability in accordance with our values and with consideration for customers, employees, and shareholders.
ADP is a visionary and development-oriented company, and with the ports of Nyborg and Fredericia as well as Taulov Dry Port, it is an important part of our value foundation to take social responsibility and make a positive contribution to the local community.
Our ports and Taulov Dry Port are strategically important hubs for import and export for businesses in the Region of Southern Denmark. ADP contributes to regional and local job creation and value growth in our owner municipalities. We focus on responsibility in all parts of our business, and our behavioral policies must be followed by all employees in their daily work.
Travel and Representation Policy
In the ADP Group, it is important to maintain a continuously low level of costs, including travel and representation costs. Business trips are carried out as needed. In each case, the optimal mode of transport must be assessed by the employee, where the cost of the trip is weighed against the travel time. All trips involving air travel must be approved by a supervisor. Other travel expenses, including meals and accommodation, must comply with the guidelines and can be found in the employee handbook. This includes limitations regarding hotel and restaurant standards.
Representation costs must always be business-related, carefully balanced in terms of size and relevance, and comply with the documentation requirements from the tax authorities. Travel and representation costs are always approved by a senior employee.
